GOV PAPERS SL (trading as DOCU SERVICES NZ) is a private company offering paid document assistance services. We are not a government agency and have no affiliation with the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM), New Zealand Passports, or any New Zealand public body.
Official certificates and passports are issued solely by the competent New Zealand authorities. We do not issue, print, or guarantee the approval of any certificate or passport. Government fees are set independently by those authorities and are separate from our service fee.
Anyone is free to request a certificate directly from Births, Deaths and Marriages, or apply for/renew a passport directly with New Zealand Passports, paying only the official government fee, without using our service.
We do not represent you before BDM, New Zealand Passports, or any other New Zealand authority, and we do not access their systems on your behalf. You submit your own request directly to the relevant authority.
