About government fees: Certificate fees are paid to Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM); passport fees are paid to New Zealand Passports. Both are part of the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA). These fees are set independently by the New Zealand Government and may change at any time without notice on our part. The figures above reflect the published fees at the time of writing.
About postage and delivery: Certificate delivery typically takes around 3 weeks within New Zealand or 4 weeks internationally, in addition to BDM's processing time. Passport delivery timeframes depend on the courier option selected with New Zealand Passports.
